The Ultimate Tax Experience, LLC is a full service tax and accounting firm located in Atlanta, GA. We are dedicated to helping each client with their individual tax needs and consistently go the extra mile in order to do so. We are current on all aspects of tax law and updates. We are members of the National Association of Tax Preparers, hold QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification and can be found on the IRS tax preparer directory.
Most people dread all things tax and deathly fear the IRS. Fear no more! We are here to make life easier for you by accommodating all of your tax and accounting needs. We are not the typical tax office that shuts its doors on April 15. We are always accessible and are there with our clients every step of the way – from tax planning to tax preparation. The Ultimate Tax Experience, LLC was established in 2007 and is an authorized e-file provider. We began only completing personal tax returns, but over the years we have expanded to offer a full range of accounting services for individuals and small businesses.

Erica Heyward, EA
Erica Heyward began preparing tax returns for friends and family at her dining room table in 2006. Today, she is a highly sought-after tax and small business expert and the owner of the Ultimate Tax Experience, a premier boutique accounting firm that services individuals and businesses located in Midtown, Atlanta, Georgia.
She is a Savannah, Georgia native and graduated from Savannah State University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. In 2011, she graduated from Keller School of Management with a Masters in Financial Management. She began her career in Corporate America in 2006, moved on to higher education in 2009 and completed tax returns on the side. In 2015, her growing clientele enabled her to leave her full-time job and pursue tax full time.
What sets her apart from the rest is that she truly cares about her clients, soothes their tax jitters, and gives one on one assistance to everyone from the W-2 employee to large corporations grossing $1M per year. She simplifies the complicatedness that is the world of tax with ease. She is dedicated to helping each client with their individual tax and business needs and consistently goes the extra mile in order to do so.

Lisa B. Brock, EA, MBA
LICENSED TAX PROFESSIONAL
Lisa is a native Atlantan with over 10 years of tax experience and 35 years of investment and banking expertise. She has her bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Georgia State University and her MBA from American Intercontinental University. She is an Investment Specialist and assists clients with retirement reviews. Lisa enjoys assisting clients with achieving financial goals which includes tax planning for the future. She receives satisfaction in taking the fear out of tax preparation and relieving stress for her clients. Lisa takes personal interest in our clients offering much more than financial expertise.
Lisa is a proud mother of a daughter and a son-in-law. She is enjoying her new role as a grandmother of 2 baby boys. Since Lisa is so personable, you will hear her pride when she talks about Julien and Milo.

Portia Cutter
CLIENT RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE
Portia Cutter, a native of Savannah, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Savannah State University. As our dedicated Onboarding Consultant, Portia plays a pivotal role in our team. For clients opting for remote tax preparation, she is the initial point of contact once the questionnaire is submitted. Portia is committed to ensuring effective communication with clients, diligently gathering and organizing all necessary information to facilitate a seamless onboarding process.
Contessa Crutchfield
TAX PREPARER
Contessa is a native of Sylvester, GA and has lived in Atlanta since 2008. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Accounting and studying for her Enrolled Agent certification. She is an experienced Tax Professional with expertise in income tax planning, compliance, and reporting. She has extensive knowledge of the Tax Code and has worked with numerous clients to optimize their tax strategies.

Contessa takes pride in giving you the assurance that the personal assistance you receive comes from years of advanced training, technical experience, and financial acumen.

Dani Wilson
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Dani Wilson was born, raised, and continues to live in Marietta, GA. She has 12 years of accounting experience working with small businesses from a variety of industries and is a Quickbooks Certified ProAdvisor. With experience including monthly bookkeeping, business and alcohol license filings, sales tax, personal property tax, and payroll, she understands that business owners want to spend more time building their businesses and less time shuffling paperwork. She aims to foster a collaborative relationship with clients, making sure their accounting needs are met and their books are accurate so that they can thrive.
Kristel Fields
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Born and raised in the Philippines, Kristel boasts over 5 years of experience as an Accounting Assistant and is presently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. As Erica's Assistant, she specializes in providing clients with meticulous document assistance and prompt reminders. Proficient in managing various ad-hoc tasks, Kristel remains dedicated to delivering excellence and operational efficiency across all aspects of client service.
